Workspaces

On this page

A workspace is an isolated content workspace. Every content bucket, content type, entry, file, user, and setting belongs to a workspace. Workspaces do not share data — entries in different workspaces are completely separate.

Workspace identity

Each workspace has three core properties:

Property Description Rules
Name URL-safe identifier used in routes and API paths Alpha-dash, max 16 chars, unique
Label Human-readable display name shown in the manager Required, max 255 chars
Email Billing and notification contact; recipient for forms using workspace email Valid email

The workspace name appears in URLs and API paths:

  • Manager: https://app.example.com/@acme
  • API: https://app.example.com/api/v1/acme

Warning: The workspace name is part of your API contract. Changing it breaks existing API clients and stored URLs.

Creating a workspace

Open the workspace chooser and click New Workspace. Enter a name, label, and email address.

The creating user is automatically added as an Administrator of the new workspace.

The workspace dashboard

Each workspace has a dashboard at /@name/dashboard that shows:

  • Editorial summary — Published this week, awaiting review, scheduled entries, and API requests over the past seven days.
  • Recent entries — Content with status filters and links to the entry editor.
  • Editorial activity — Recent actions within the workspace.
  • Recent media — Recently uploaded files.

Open Metrics for usage charts, Usage for current-period spend, and Settings → Billing → Invoices for invoice estimates and history.

Switching workspaces

If you belong to multiple workspaces, use the workspace switcher in the sidebar header. The switcher lists all workspaces you have access to. Select one to navigate to its dashboard.

Workspace-scoped resources

All of the following belong to a single workspace:

Resource Description
Content Buckets Content areas that group content types
Content Types Content types with defined fields
Entries Individual content items
Files Uploaded assets
Forms Hosted questions, saved answers, and delivery settings
Pipelines Automation workflows and execution history
Users Team members with role-based access
API Keys Credentials for API access
Webhooks Event-driven HTTP callouts
Audit Logs History of configuration changes
Invoices Monthly billing entries

Deleting a workspace

To delete a workspace, go to Settings → General and scroll to the Danger Zone. Type the workspace name to confirm deletion.

Error: Deleting a workspace removes all content types, entries, files, and settings inside it. This operation cannot be undone.
