# Members and Access

Each workspace has its own member list. Users are added by email and assigned a role that determines what they can do inside the workspace.

## Adding a member

1. Go to **Settings → Access → Invitations** (`/@name/settings/access/invitations`).
2. Enter the user's email address.
3. Select a role: **Administrator**, **Editor**, **User**, or **Viewer**.
4. Send the invitation.

Existing users can accept the invitation from the email notification. If the email does not belong to a Viresso user yet, they receive an invitation to create an account first.

## Changing a role

Change a member's role from **Settings → Access → Members** using the role dropdown next to their name. The affected user and the workspace email receive a notification when the role changes.

## Removing a member

Click the context menu next to a member and select **Remove**. Confirm the action to remove their access.

The removed user loses access to all workspace resources immediately. A notification is sent to the workspace email.
