# Metrics

Metrics shows three sections:

- **Objects:** current counts of objects, entries, files, and buckets; entry creation and file upload activity for the selected period. Form submissions are separate from objects.
- **Form submissions:** stored submissions and their activity chart for the selected period. Email-only responses are not stored or counted.
- **API traffic:** API request and bandwidth totals, plus request outcomes and errors.

Choose the last six hours, day, seven days, or thirty days. Times are UTC. Data is cached for up to a minute; use the workspace refresh button to reload. The seven-day chart uses daily intervals beginning at the displayed period start.

Object activity uses original creation dates, including for migrated entries. Deleted objects are excluded, so it is not a permanent audit log. Current totals do not change when you select another period. Object and form sections respect your viewing permissions.

Request outcomes use retained request logs; API and bandwidth totals use usage counters. These may differ when logs have expired. Billing details remain on Usage. This local layout update does not change billing calculations or API integrations.
